ITEM 201, Beaded Purse. This classic evening purse can be knit on standard or mid-gauge machine. Hand manipulating beading technique and finishing will be covered. Hands-on class. ITEM 202, Lace Scarf. Reading a hand knitting lace chart and transferring it to machine knitting will be covered in this making of a scarf. The scarf sample was knitted on a LK-150. ITEM 204, Spiral Hat. This version of a rolled brim hat can be knitted on the any mid-gauge machine such as the LK-150 or bulky machine. Techniques that will be learned in class are jersey and reverse jersey, increasing and decreasing. Using waste yarn and employing the Kitchener stitch in the finishing. Advanced Beginner. Students should have completed at least one garment with shaping on the knitting machine.
ITEM 205, Texting Gloves and Scarf. Make this set for you or maybe as a gift. This class will cover the technique of short rowing, working in pattern (electronic or punch card) and finishing techniques as they apply to this project.
